Faculty-Applied Clean Energy Sciences (FACES)

Advancing Energy with STEM

The Faculty-Applied Collaboration in Energy Sciences (FACES) Program is a first of its kind effort developed by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in partnership with the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE). The goal of the program is to strengthen relationships with faculty from non-R1 level institutions and bring NREL research and tools into classrooms for their students. By providing applied research opportunities for scientific leadership across our country’s institutions, we can inspire the next generation of energy innovators.
