The WVDNR is responsible for wildlife management, hunting and fishing regulations, and boater safety and also oversees state parks and resorts. The Division prescribes and enforces regulations pertinent to resource management within the states. The Division also issues hunting and fishing licenses. The Division is divided into three sections: Law Enforcement, Parks and Recreation, and Wildlife Resources.
