Exploration Basis

The objective of this study was to quantify the hydrologic properties of the geothermal reservoir.

 

Notes

In this study several wells in The Dixie Valley Geothermal Area had temperature, pressure, and spinner logs made. Four analytical techniques were implemented, they were: step drawdown variable-discharge test, recovery analysis, damped-oscillation response, and injection tests. The results showed that there is a high spatial variability of the aquifer along the range front fault.
