Summary

In September 2002, the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission (PUC) issued an order requiring the state's regulated electric utilities to disclose to customers details on the fuel mix and emissions of electric generation. Utilities must provide this information to customers in a standard format twice annually. Utilities may distribute this information to customers electronically. Disclosure information must also be filed with the PUC.

In addition, in 2009, the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency began to transition to an inventory data management system that consolidates crieteria, toxics, and greenhouse gas inventories. The Air Emissions Inventory can be found here.
