Notes

The aeromagnetic data noted above refer to a low-level aeromagnetic survey that was flown over the entire island of Hawaii at an altitude of approximately 300 m. The results of the survey over Kawaihae clearly indicate an anomalously magnetized body between the town of Waimea and Kawaihae Bay to the west.
