Motion chart visualization of the world energy supply from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The default view shows how much percent of energy produced is renewable energy and how much total energy is produced by each country.
The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) publishes a comprehensive database on world statistics, including energy production and renewable energy. This dynamic chart, called a motion chart, lets you explore and visualize the energy data with just a few clicks of your mouse. This shows how much percent energy produced is renewable energy and how much total energy is produced by each country. Click the play button to see how and where energy production has changed since 1971. Select different statistics on the x-axis, y-axis, or to represent the bubble size to analyze the data in different ways.
