Ride w/ Me is a mobile and web-based tool to reduce greenhouse gas emissions with minimal investment and the transportation assets we have today. Please note: this is a hackathon-generated application or tool, so this application is in alpha stage and does not represent a finished product.

Ride w/ Me is a mobile and web-based tool to reduce greenhouse gas emissions with minimal investment and the transportation assets we have today. Ride w/ Me solves the major barriers that have limited previous rideshare programs – finding enough riders or drivers you trust and having sufficient incentives.

By integrating with social networks including Facebook and LinkedIn, we identify a much larger group of potential riders and drivers who have verifiable trust.

By partnering with green initiatives like RecycleBank and group-based buying sites like Living Social, we offer valuable awards to drivers and riders at a carbon cost of $20 per tonne, or 1 penny per shared mile.
