Tools

PRIMRE serves as a one-stop-shop for resources and tools available to the marine energy industry, by maintaining Knowledge Hubs and creating this curated list of resources and tools. Many of the listed resources are databases created by international organizations and may have scopes that extend beyond that of marine energy. Some have created an API to integrate their marine energy content with the PRIMRE aggregate search. Many of the listed tools expand on knowledge contained in Knowledge Hubs, providing interactivity or new methods for visualizing content. Recommendations for new resources and tools should be sent to PRIMREHelp@groups.nrel.gov.

Design Load Case Generator (DLC)
The Design Load Case Generator (DLC) integrates a suite of data search, processing and statistical tools to streamline the analysis of design load conditions for marine renewable applications. The DLC tool can then be used to evaluate the design load requirements as outlined in the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 62600-2 design standard.
