Development Alternatives is a non-profit that "engages in scientific research and innovation, on-the-ground implementation of eco solutions as well as communication and policy influence."
It is part of the Development Alternatives Group that is comprised of two non-profit and five for-profit social enterprises that draw on the experiences and traditions of local culture to promote jobs for the poor and stewardship of the environment.
