Exploration Basis

Conceptual models are the basis of any exploration or development activities. Many Conceptual models of Dixie Valley have been made and they have been evolving and becoming more complex over the years.

Notes

The first geothermal focused conceptual model was created in 1976. This model was presented in an unpublished report. The model was based on 15 temperature gradient holes located along the western edge of the valley. It was also based on the 1967 model.
