China-CCAP Developing Country Project
Overview
"As the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) moves forward, it is critical that developing countries are ready and able to make significant progress toward reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. CCAP is helping developing countries prepare for and participate in UNFCCC negotiations through its Developing Country Project. CCAP is assisting developing countries by identifying opportunities that will result in substantial economic gains and other benefits from reductions in GHG emissions. Since February 2005, CCAP has been working on the ground with policy-makers and researchers in Brazil, China, India and Mexico. Indonesia was recently added to this project."
