Summary

The Program for processing of organic matter by anaerobic digestion and composting (PTMOBC) provides financial assistance to municipalities and the private sector for the installation of infrastructure to treat organic matter by these two methods. The program's objectives are to reduce GHG emissions and the amount of organic materials to disposal.

It is part of the implementation of the measures 15 of the 2006-2012 Action Plan on Climate Change (PACC), which aims to reduce GHG emissions and adaptation to climate change.
