Summary

The Small Business Energy Advantage Program is a combined rebate and loan program offered to small business customers of the United Illuminating Company (UI) for energy efficiency improvements. UI sends a representative to complete an energy audit. Based on the results, UI recommends certain energy efficient measures to be carried out by pre-approved energy efficiency professionals. The business customer then receives a rebate of up to 30% of lighting and up to 40% of non-lighting installation upgrades. The remaining costs may be paid off as a zero interest loan on the business? monthly utility bill. Please contact UI for any details or to shedule an energy audit.
