Exploration Activity: Teleseismic-Seismic Monitoring At Clear Lake Area (Skokan, 1993)

|Exploration Technique||Teleseismic-Seismic Monitoring|
Figure 4 illustrates seismicity from January of 1969 to June of 1977 (Rapolla and Keller, 1984). During this span, most of the seismicity occurred in the region of the Geysers geothermal field. Additional clustered activity was noted to the north and east of the Collayomi Fault in the Clear Lake region. Curiously, no unusual earthquake activity was noted along the major trend of the Collayomi Fault. Instead, the Collayomi Fault seems to separate two areas of active seismicity.
