Customers who pursue ceiling, floor, and wall insulation coupled with duct sealing are eligible for an incentive payment of up to $3,450. Zero-interest loans are available to help customers cover any remaining costs of these improvements. Tacoma Power requires customers to use participating contractors. After a project is complete, Tacoma Power will inspect all the work to ensure that quality standards are met. Eligible homes must have been built before 1988 and be electrically heated.
