Duct Repair, Replacement, and Sealing: Existing HVAC only
Minor Repair Work: Broken glass, glazing or prime door replacement, with power company pre-approval.
Replace HVAC: ENERGY STAR qualification required, all heat pumps included, and power company pre-approval for dual-fuel or air conditioning.
Attic Insulation: Ventilation must be nonpowered
Air sealing must include weatherstrip and caulk.
Self-installed insulation, caulk, weatherstrip, and rehabilitation require power company approval and only the cost of materials may be claimed.






Installation Requirements Minimum investment must be at least $150.


Maximum Incentive 50% cost up to 500

Summary

The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) energy right In-Home Energy Evaluation Pilot Program encourages the installation of energy-efficiency improvements in existing single family dwellings. The program offers an in-home energy assessment as well as financing options and rebates/incentives to help homeowners who choose to make investments in significant energy efficiency improvements. Evaluations are performed by TVA-certified energy advisers and installed measures are inspected after installation.

Customers should contact their local utilities to see if the program is currently offered.
