Summary

The State of Connecticut has an established pathway to test new energy efficiency or renewable energy technologies in state offices. The technology, product or process must be presently available for commercial sale and distribution or have the potential for commercialization not later than two years following the completion of any test program by a state agency. If the test is successful, the Commissioner of Administrative Services may procure such technology for use by any or all state agencies.
