Sierra Pacific's Energy Assistance Program in conjunction with the State of Nevada's Welfare and Housing Divisions offers assistance in two categories: (1) Once a year aid on energy bill for qualifying low-income customers, and (2) Weatherization Assistance--aiding low-income households in the installation of various energy saving technologies. Applications can be printed out from the Nevada Energy Connection website. Sierra Pacific also offers a Special Assistance Fund for Energy (S.A.F.E.) administered by voluntary community service agencies throughout the state. See the website for an agency near you.
