Summary

Rocky Mountain Power's FinAnswer Express Program includes incentives and technical assistance for lighting, HVAC and other equipment upgrades that increase energy efficiency and exceed code requirements in commercial and industrial facilities. Both retrofits of existing equipment and new construction projects are eligible. For retrofits, the utility may need to verify existing equipment. Prescriptive rebates are available for pre-approved lighting systems, HVAC equipment and efficient motors. Incentives may also be available for custom efficiency projects; interested customers should call Rocky Mountain Power for more information. Additional restrictions apply; see program documentation for complete rules and procedures.

In addition to this and other business efficiency programs offered to Utah customers, Rocky Mountain Power also provides free expert building analysis of recommissioning possibilities. Customers with a summer peak demand of 300 kW or more, willing to make a $10,000 participation commitment, can apply for a Recommissioning Service Provider Analysis. Incentives are available to reduce the implementation costs of recommissioning measures if the simple payback is greater than one year. For more details, email recommissioning@rockymountainpower.net. Agricultural Incentives are also offered; other restrictions apply, see program documentation for complete rules and procedures.
