Chemical Inventory Reporting Process
18-HI-e.1 to 18-HI-e.2 - Will the facility store, use or manufacture any hazardous substance that is equal to or exceeds reporting thresholds established by Hawaii Chemical Inventory Form
Inventory forms are required from facilities that have hazardous substances that equal or exceed the reporting thresholds established in the Information Package for Chemical Inventory Form (HCIF)/Tier II under the Hawaii Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (HEPCRA).
18-HI-e.3 - Chemical Inventory Reports
Submit inventory reports using the EPA Tier2 Submit Software Webpage. Most companies begin work on their Tier 2 reports at the end of the calendar year in order to submit them by March 1 of the following year. If there is any doubt about any reporting, contact the Department of Health's Hazard Evaluation and Emergency Response Office for guidance.
18-HI-e.4 - Submit Reports to the Department of Health
Enter the inventory information into Tier2Submit, generate and hardopy and a diskette. Send a diskette or e-mail the electronic file to Sharon.email@example.com (include the fee payment).
