Summary

The City of Port Angeles Public Works & Utilities offers a low-interest loan to its residential and commercial customers for certain renewable energy projects. The loan is available for installation of solar water heating and photovoltaic systems. All improvements must be approved by the City in advance of any work performed. All improvements must meet the City’s Material & Installation Specifications. The interest rate for this loan is 2.5% above the one year London Interbank Offered Rate (LIBOR) and is subject to change without notice. The City guarantees the loan in exchange for the low interest rate through an agreement with a local lender. Fees are negotiated by the lender on a case-by-case basis. You must have the approval of the City of Port Angeles and the approved lender prior to beginning the project.
