Summary

This legislation stipulates that the Railroad Commission of Texas automatically acquires the title to any carbon dioxide captured by a clean coal project in the state. The Bureau of Economic Geology of The University of Texas at Austin is responsible for monitoring, measuring, and verifying the permanent status of sequestered carbon dioxide
