Orange County REMC offers incentives for members to improve the energy efficiency of homes, appliances and equipment. Rebates are available for water heaters, geothermal heat pumps, air-source heat pumps, central air conditioners, ETS systems, and CFL bulbs. The rebate amount depends on the size and efficiency of the equipment and the type of system that it is replacing. A free 40- to 50-gallon water heater is also available to customers with gas replacements or new construction. To obtain an application and learn more about the program guidelines, see the program web site.
