Summary

The owner or operator of a facility subject to this article shall obtain and maintain an operating permit for the facility. The owner or operator of a facility subject to this article shall ensure that no person shall use or operate any significant source operation at the facility without a valid operating permit for the facility, which covers the source operation. The owner or operator shall also ensure that no air contaminant is emitted from any significant source operation at a rate, calculated as the potential to emit, that exceeds the applicable threshold for reporting emissions. The criteria for applicable facilities are listed in the article.
