Central Furnace Thermal Storage: must be off-peak program, coupled with Energy Star Air-Source Heat Pump
Geothermal Heat Pump: minimum 14.1 EER
Insulation: if Attic, must improve to R-49 from less than R-20;
if Wall, must improve to R-10 with air sealing rim joints from R-0

Summary

Northern Plains Electric Cooperative (NPEC) is a member-owned electric cooperative that serves customers in east-central North Dakota. Through the North Dakota Utility Rebate Program, NPEC offers a variety of rebates to its residential customers that encourage energy efficiency equipment replacements and energy saving home improvements. Incentives are available for energy audits, HVAC and water heater upgrades, and for increasing or adding insulation.
