Summary

The Natural Streambed and Land Preservation Act of 1975 aims to prevent the environmental degradation of streams and land resources, and to provide reasonable remedies for the depletion of these resources. The Act establishes that streams and adjacent lands within the state are to be preserved, that soil erosion and sedimentation are to be kept to a minimum, and that unauthorized projects in these areas are prohibited.
