Missouri River Energy Services

Originally formed in the 1960's under the name Missouri Basin Municipal Power Agency (MBMPA), the name was changed to Missouri River Energy Services (MRES) in 1998. [3]

Missouri River Energy Services (MRES) is an organization of 61 member municipalities that own and operate their own electric distribution systems.[4]
