Notes
Improving Exploration Models of Andesite-Hosted Geothermal Systems, Allis, Browne, Bruton, Christensen, Hulen, Lutz, Mindenhall, Nemcok, Norman, Powell and Stimac. The approach we are using is to characterize the petrology, geochemistry and fractures in core and cuttings samples and then integrate these data with measured downhole temperatures and pressures and with the compositions of the reservoir fluids. Our investigations represent cooperative efforts with the Karaha-Bodas Co. LLC (a subsidiary of Caithness Energy) at Karaha-Telaga Bodas, Indonesia and with Philippine Geothermal Inc. (a subsidiary of Unocal) at Bulalo, Philippines.
