Axial Flow Turbine

Technology Description The design of the SPG leverages water flows in varying scenarios to generate electricity While the focus of the C2C deployments is ocean currents the SPG works in a bi directional manner Therefore the SPG can be deployed to generate electricity from tidal differential tidal streams In areas where currents and tidal differential streams converge the SPG with remote control and telemetry systems will track the water velocity In this manner the SPG can be maneuver in three dimensions to optimize water flow Each tube of the catamaran is approximately 150 feet in length The inner tube contains the electronic components and the outer tube is the rotating impeller system comprising a generator with a four blade turbine which measures approximately 100 feet in diameter The total area covered by each SPG is about the size of a football field
