Longmont Power and Communications in collaboration with the Platte River Power Authority, offers its commercial and industrial customers an incentive to install energy efficient central air conditioners, heat pumps, evaporative coolers, lighting and controls, commercial refrigeration equipment, commercial food service equipment, motors, building insulation and energy star appliances. Custom rebates are also available for upgrades including variable frequency drives, central plant cooling, energy recovery units, exhaust improvements and other unique measures. All systems must meet minimum efficiency standards described in the program website. Rebate qualifications and amounts are subject to change at any time. Program may be canceled without notice. Customers should check the Platte River web site or contact their equipment dealer to determine the current status of the program before applying for a rebate.
