Linn County Rural Electric Cooperative Association (Linn County RECA) is a member-owned cooperative. To encourage energy efficiency, Linn County offers a number of rebates to residential customers. Owners of both newly constructed homes and existing homes are eligible for similar rebates on geothermal heat pumps, air source heat pumps, central air conditioning, lighting equipment, weatherization measures, electric water heaters, and various Energy Star appliances. An appliance recycling rebate is also offered to owners of existing homes. Weatherization measures include ceiling, attic, wall, and foundation insulation, duct sealing and infiltration control.
