Jackson Electric Membership Corporation (EMC) is an electric cooperative that serves 194,000 customers in 10 counties in northeast Georgia. To encourage its residential customers to adopt energy efficient equipment in their homes, Jackson EMC provides rebates for qualified heat pumps and water heaters. In addition to these prescriptive rebates, residential customers may be eligible for a rebate of up to $400 if they pursue energy saving measures suggested by Jackson EMC's "Right Choice Home Performance with Energy Star" home energy audits.
