Organization Overview

Instituto Torcuato Di Tella is a non-profit organization founded for the advancement of Argentinian culture. In the beginning, ITDT categorized activities through research centers specializing in different subjects, mainly economics, social sciences, urban planning, and the arts. Today, the institute continues to work and produce knowledge on various topics, through various research centers. Those center which works primarily with energy and emissions activities is discussed below.

Center for Studies in Global Change

"Among the Centre's objectives include the installed capacity to take advantage of the academic-and research-which is inserted in the field of environment (climate change, the Clean Development Mechanism, Carbon Markets, Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency ), international relations, political science, social sciences, law, economics, urban economics and management, among other disciplines, in order to examine systematically integrated environmental concerns into their relevant dimensions, improving the design of public policies this issue and help improve social perception, consciousness and the level of public debate on environmental issues in our country."
