HEIC is an online tool that estimates the number and costs of premature deaths and other health-related incidents caused by operation emissions in healthcare facilities.

The Healthcare Energy Impact Calculator (EIC) estimates premature deaths, chronic bronchitis, asthma attacks, and emergency room visits, caused by hospital emissions. The EIC displays the projected number of incidents, estimates of medical treatment costs, their external societal costs. For carbon dioxide it calculates emissions permit costs (costs to emit).
