General: Guidelines for the Development of Historic Properties Management Plans for FERC Hydroelectric Projects

Abstract
Guidelines for developers of Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) regulated hydroelectric projects. These guidelines are part of an ongoing effort to integrate and streamline the FERC licensing and the National Historic Preservation Act Section 106 processes. The guidelines assist project developers in preparing a comprehensive Historic Preservation Management Plan (HPMP)and integrating the HPMP with other management plans at the project (e.g. recreation plans, wildlife management plans, operating plans).
