Exploration Activity: Ground Gravity Survey At Roosevelt Hot Springs Geothermal Area (Ward, Et Al., 1978)

Exploration Activity Details
Location Roosevelt Hot Springs Geothermal Area
Exploration Technique Ground Gravity Survey
Activity Date 1978 - 1978

Usefulness could be useful with more improvements
DOE-funding Unknown

Exploration Basis
Ward et al. 1978 literature review and exploration program recommendations

Notes
Gravity survey performed at Roosevelt Hot Springs Geothermal Area. The Quaternary alluvium thickness based on gravity measurements is approximately 1400 m but no igneous intrusion heat source was detected. Seismic refraction constraint to the gravity data recommended to improve the model.
