Equipment Requirements Air Source Heat Pumps

Minimum Efficiency Requirement: HSPF = 8.0 or higher
Exception to this requirement: Where special, weather-protected units are used for salt-air applications in coastal areas, a minimum HSPF of 7.5 will be acceptable.
Ground Source Heat Pumps
Minimum Efficiency Requirement: COP = 3.2 or higher



Installation Requirements Heat pump must be installed by a contractor on the utility’s Approved Contractor List according to the installation standards outlined in the Residential Heat Pump System Installation Standards.


Maximum Incentive Only one heat pump installation per residence will qualify for assistance under the program.

Summary

Grays Harbor PUD provides rebates to customers who install qualifying energy efficient heat pumps.
