Journal Article: Geothermal-Energy Resources And Their Use In Yugoslavia

Abstract
Yugoslavia has a 30-year tradition in geothermal energy utilization. The oil crisis of the 1970s and 1980s provided a fresh impetus for assessment and exploration of potential systems in fractured and porous aquifers, and for development of applications of low-enthalpy thermal water. It is expected that these efforts will continue with greater intensity in the new future.
