Summary

All public utilities and persons subject to this rule shall file with the commission an operating and maintenance plan as well as an emergency plan. All construction work involving the addition and/or the replacement of gas or hazardous liquid pipelines or mains greater than 1000 feet in length shall be reported to the Alabama Public Service Commission before construction begins. All public utilities and persons shall file updates to all Safety Related Condition Reports each 30 days until such “Condition” has been resolved to meet the requirements of state guidelines for pipeline safety.
