Summary

Oklahoma's forests are managed by the Oklahoma Forestry Services, a division of the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry. In 2008 the Department issued the "Forest Resources of East Oklahoma": http://www.forestry.ok.gov/Websites/forestry/images/East_Oklahoma_2008_Final_Report.pdf

The Department offers several forest management grants, including:

Forest Resource Development Program, to assist landowners implement forestry practices: http://www.forestry.ok.gov/forest-resource-development-program-frdp
