Air-Source Heat Pumps (Split): SEER 15.0; EER 12.5; HSPF 8.5
Air-Source Heat Pumps (Package): SEER 14.0; EER 12.0; HSPF 8.0
Water Heaters: 0.90 or greater Energy Factor (EF)






Installation Requirements Water heaters, geothermal, and air-source heat pumps must be installed at a location receiving electric service from Firelands Electric Cooperative

Summary

Firelands Electric Cooperative (FEC) is offering rebates on energy efficient equipment to residential customers receiving electric service from FEC. Eligible equipment includes new Geothermal Heat Pumps, Air-Source Heat Pumps, Dual Fuel Heat Pumps, Electric Water Heaters, and HVAC controls. Geothermal and Air-Source Heat Pumps must be new and meet the efficiency requirements of the federal tax credit for Consumer Energy Efficiency standards, and meet all of FEC's efficiency requirements. Electric Water Heaters must have an Energy Factor of 0.90 or greater. Participating customers must take part in Fireland's PeakBuster program.
