Vertical Electrical Sounding Configurations

A vertical electrical sounding (VES) is a DC resistivity survey which provides information regarding the change in apparent resistivity with depth. A quantitative interpretation of the results from VES measurements enable determination of the parameters for the geoelectric section.[1]
