Flow Test

Flow tests are typically conducted shortly after a well has been drilled to test its productivity. The well is opened and fluids are released, the volume of fluids discharged over a period of time is the flow rate of that well. This test reveals a wells capacity for power output, the chemistry of the fluids, temperature of the fluids, and pressure or temperature variations during production.[1]
