North Carolina Administrative Code Title 15A, Subchapter 2K lays out further regulations for the design, approval, construction, maintenance, and inspection of dams to ensure public safety and environmental health. The rules and regulations in this chapter are intended to carry out the purposes of the Dam Safety Law of 1967, which authorizes the implementation of a dam inspection and certification program in the interest of public health, safety and welfare.
