Any energy conservation measure is eligible for funding as long as it meets or exceeds current city, state or federal energy code requirements and the benefit cost ratio (BCR) is equal to or greater than 2.00. Products must maintain less than 20 percent harmonic distortion and a minimum power factor of 90 percent. The simple payback must also be equal to or greater than one year.
Dakota Electric will conduct an inspection of the project site prior to approval, and grant applications must earn pre-approval from Dakota Electric before any work begins.
