|Location||Valles Caldera - Redondo Geothermal Area|
|Exploration Technique||Conceptual Model|
|Activity Date||- 1988|
The study reports well log data from five wells completed during the UOC and CSDP drilling programs in order to provide lithologic, and temperature data for other scientific investigations into the structure and thermal regime of the Valles caldera.
Lithology, gamma ray, and temperature log data from VC-1 and AET-4 (south of the caldera), PC-1 and PC-2 (west of the caldera) and WC-23-4 (within the caldera) are included in the report. Although no new data were presented in this report, data from the five wells were integrated to illustrate thermal gradients at the Redondo geothermal area, Fenton Hill, and along the hydrothermal outflow plume to the southwest, extending to the AET-4 well near Jemez Springs.
