Columbia River PUD offers a variety of rebates to commercial and industrial customers who make energy saving improvements to facilities. Rebates are available for lighting retrofits, weatherization measures, water heating, and appliances. Weatherization rebates are available for facilities that include office or retail spaces that are less than 5,000 square feet in size and are heated by permanently installed electric heat (electric furnace, wall heaters, heat pump, baseboard heat, etc.). Eligible Weatherization measures include insulation, windows, and air sealing.
The lighting retrofit program helps owners and leaseholders of commercial and institutional facilities upgrade light fixtures, lighting controls, and HVAC controls to energy efficient technologies. Projects must reduce the connected wattage of affected fixtures by at least 25% (occupancy sensors and programmable setback thermostats are exempt from this requirement). Rebates cannot exceed 70% of the actual cost of the energy-saving measures. Visit Columbia River PUD's website for specific program guidelines and requirements.
