Abstract
Frequently asked questions regarding Colorado Dewatering Permit. During construction activities, groundwater may be encountered during excavation which may need to be discharged to groundwater or surface water.  A certification under the Construction Dewatering (CDW) general permit is required from the Water Quality Control Division (Division) before this discharge can occur.
