Summary

In April 2007, the San Antonio City Council adopted a resolution to require that all new buildings that are funded and used by the city must meet green building guidelines. The guidelines should be based on the USGBC LEED Silver level, though the resolution allows for the requirement to be customized by the City of San Antonio and the Metropolitan Partnership for Energy.
