Summary

The City of High Point, in association with NCMPA1, offers the Hometown Green Program to encourage customers to build or purchase a home which meets Energy Star Home standards. Qualified homes are at least 15% more energy efficient than homes built to the 2004 International Residential Code (IRC) and they include additional efficient features that typically make them 20 ? 30% more efficient than a standard home. Under the City of High Point program, a $500 rebate is available for new single-family homes which meet the program's specified requirements.
